According to cinewsnow.com, last Sunday, was the kick-off of the sign up for a summer reading program for all ages.

Anyone who participates has to sign a contract agreeing to read three hours a week this summer.

Readers will have to stop back in to the Peoria Public Library branch they signed up at once a week from Sunday, June 5th through Saturday, July 23rd and report how much they read.

Those who read six of the seven weeks will earn a pass to get into the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Caterpillar Visitor Center for free on  Tuesday, July 26th.
