A company is hiring people to be pizza taste-testers from home.
Ooni will pay 10 people anywhere from $300 to $1,000 a day to make and critique pizzas, according to CNBC Make It & WAND-TV. It will even send wood-fired pizza ovens to the people hired and pay for all needed ingredients to make pizzas.
“Anyone from “novices through to professional pizzaioli” can claim the jobs,” the company says.
Ooni says someone who is a “passionate home cook” and “understands how to make and stretch their own dough” but doesn’t have professional cooking experience might make $300, while “standout candidates who have added skill sets” and have experience might make $1,000 a day.
CNBC says hired people will be in permanent part-time jobs with Ooni as recipe developers or product testers. Taste-testers will give Ooni taste and presentation feedback, either from their own pizza creations or tweaked Ooni recipes.
Interested applicants are asked to send a video to Ooni’s website, ooni.com/blogs/news/ooni-pizza-taste-tester-job and explain why they’re the right person for the job. Ooni says it wants to see “epic pizza skills”.
People are required to apply by Sunday, October 14th.
