The theme for the 2018 Illinois State Fair has been announced.

There are just three-and-a-half months left until the start of the Illinois State Fair (Springfield, IL- August 9th-19th) & the Du Quoin State Fair (DuQuoin, IL-August 24th-September 3rd).

The theme of the 2018 Illinois and Du Quoin State Fairs is “Celebrate Illinois: 200 Years of Amazing!”

The theme was chose due to the state celebrating its bicentennial birthday.

The Twilight Parade will kick off the opening night of the fairs.

Applications for the parades are being accepted for May 1st through July 9th for Springfield and June 1st through August 13th for Du Quoin.
