“Hey family, do you know anybody or anyone who could be nominated “Illinoisan Of The Day?”

The nomination period is now open for the Illinoisan of the day honor at this year’s Illinois State Fair.

The qualifications for Illinoisan Of The Day are as follows:

*Nominees must be at least 25 years old

*Be affiliated with Illinois state or county fairs or agricultural groups

*They must have a strong history of volunteerism and community service.

The 2018 Illinois State Fair in Springfield, IL, runs from August 9th-19th.

The deadline for nominations is June 25th.

Nomination forms can be requested by calling the Museum Foundation at (217) 725-8047 or downloaded by visiting the museum foundation website, www.statefairmuseum.org.
