WVEL Sports Scope: Chicago Bears + Indianapolis Colts 2017 Football Season Schedule

Both the Chicago Bears & Indianapolis Colts, have announced their 2017 football scheduled season.

The Chicago Bears went 3-13 and finished 4th in the NFC North during the 2016 season, and as they look to improve on that mark in ’17, they now know what their schedule will look like in the coming year.

The Bears will open the 2017 regular season with a home game against the defending NFC champions, as the Atlanta Falcons come to Soldier Field in Week 1. The Falcons also opened the 2011 season in Chicago, losing 30-12 to the Bears in a blowout Chicago victory.

Here is the full schedule for the Chicago Bears:

Week 1: Sept. 10 vs. Atlanta

Week 2: Sept. 17 at Tampa Bay

Week 3: Sept. 24 vs. Pittsburgh

Week 4: Sept. 28 at Green Bay

Week 5: Oct. 9 vs. Minnesota

Week 6: Oct. 15 at Baltimore

Week 7: Oct. 22 vs. Carolina

Week 8: Oct. 29 at New Orleans

Week 9: Nov. 5 Bye week

Week 10: Nov. 12 vs. Green Bay

Week 11: Nov. 19 vs. Detroit

Week 12: Nov. 26 at Philadelphia

Week 13: Dec. 3 vs. San Francisco

Week 14: Dec. 10 at Cincinnati

Week 15: Dec. 16 at Detroit

Week 16: Dec. 24 vs. Cleveland

Week 17: Dec. 31 at Minnesota

The Bears will only have two primetime games this season, playing the Green Bay Packers in a Week 4 Thursday Night Football showdown and the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in Week 5.

 

The Indianapolis Colts went 8-8 and finished 3rd in The AFC South during the 2016 season, and as they look to improve on that mark in ’17, they now know what their schedule will look like in the coming year.

The pursuit of a return to relevancy for the Indianapolis Colts begins a long way from home as they open the 2017 season against the Los Angeles Rams in Los Angeles, CA.

There are two other prime-time games on the Indianapolis schedule, a Monday night game at AFC South rival Tennessee on October 16th and a Saturday night game on NFL Network from Baltimore, MD on December 23rd.
