The PEORIA Area Anti-Hunger Colalition will sponsor the 36th Annual Foodshare Can-A-Thon on Sunday March 15, 2020.

Just in case you want to help with this can drive, Here are some of the ways YOU can help:
• Recruit teams to collect cans door to door from 1PM-4 PM on Sunday, March 15, (Sign-up form enclosed). If youth, please recruit ONE DRIVER for EACH TEAM you send.
• Make a monetary donation to the Peoria Area Anti-Hunger Coalition.
• Do a CANNED FOOD DRIVE. Plan a food drive within your church or organization. They will supply Can-A-Thon bags and arrange pick-up if you can’t bring the food to the United Presbyterian Church, 2400 W Northmoor Rd, Peoria, IL on March 15th.
• Hand out Can-A-Thon bags to customers at a Kroger Store on Saturday, March 14th, or after church on Sunday March 15th.

In 2019, they collected over 60,000 pounds of food to help hungry families in the Peoria area.

They are hoping to equal or surpass that amount this year, but they are needing MORE people to help. The more people participate, the more food they can collect! People are hurting! YOU can make a difference in someone’s life! Message them on the “Peoria Area Anti-Hunger Coalition” Facebook site to get involved!
