“Here’s some news you probably didn’t want to hear on today: GAS PRICES ARE ON THE RISE!”
NBC News & WGEM-TV report that the average price of regular-grade gas in the U.S. is up ten cents a gallon over the past two weeks to $2.44.
That price is still 15 cents lower than it was a year ago.
You can find the nation’s highest average in the San Francisco, CA Bay area where gas is about $3.38. The lowest average cost for gas is $2.03 in Baton Rouge, LA.
The average price of diesel is up three cents over the past two weeks as well.
