Dunlap High School tops the list of Best Schools & Districts in the Peoria area, according to research website Niche.com and WEEK-TV.

The 2019 Best Public High Schools ranks academic and student life based on data from the U.S. Department of Education, including test scores, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, and teacher quality.

Rounding out the top five, Richwoods High School, Morton High School, Washington Community High School, and Tremont High School, respectively.

Another Illinois school, Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, in Aurora came in at number one on the 2019 Best Public High Schools in America list.
