The 1st Peoria Musicfest and Wellness Fair, aims to promote community and reinvestment in Peoria’s South End Area.

The free, public event, happening from 12noon to 8pm on Saturday, June 18th at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, will include music, food vendors, and free HIV testing,

The fair will be a combination of celebrations around Men’s Health Month, Black Music Month, and Juneteenth.

There will also be a kick-off event featuring spoken word artists from 7pm to 9pm on Friday, June 17th at the VFW Post at 1111 South Western Avenue in Peoria, IL.

The motivation behind this upcoming event, is to bring the community together and encourage healthier lifestyles while promoting resources in South Peoria.
