Eureka, IL native, 2-time MLB All-Star and World Series Champion Ben Zobrist, agrees to play and and take his talents to the Windy City!

According to cinewsnow.com, the Chicago Cubs have reportedly added one of the game’s most versatile stars to their roster.

The ball club agreed to a four-year, $56 million deal with baseball star Ben Zobrist.

Along with a $2 million signing bonus, the 34-year-old baseball player will earn $10 million in 2016, $16 million in each of the next two seasons, and $12 million in the final year of his contact.

Zobrist will be reunited with his former manager Joe Maddon (Peoria Chiefs and now with the Cubs) who both were on the Tampa Bay Devil Rays/Rays from ’06-’14.
