It’s that time of the year again; it’s time for the “NCAA Kings Of The Basketball Court” to battle out in the 17th Annual Big Ten/ACC Men’s Basketball Challenge!
Since 1999, this men’s basketball showdown event happens every late November and early December.
According to bigten.org, the Big Ten/ACC Challenge highlights 8 teams in the ESPN.com men’s preseason top 25 poll: No. 2 Maryland, No. 9 North Carolina, No. 12 Virginia, No. 6 Duke, No. 14 Indiana, No. 16 Notre Dame, and No. 3 Michigan State.
Here is a schedule for this year’s Big Ten/ACC Challenge (In-State teams in bold print; All times are CST):
Monday, November 30th:
6pm Wake Forest at Rutgers- ESPNU
8pm Clemson at Minnesota- ESPN2
Tuesday, December 1st:
6pm Michigan at NC State- ESPN2
6pm Northwestern at Virginia Tech- ESPNU
6:30pm No. 4 Virginia at Ohio State- ESPN
8pm Miami (FL) at Nebraska- ESPNU
8pm Purdue at Pittsburgh- ESPN2
8:30pm No. 1 Maryland at No. 2 North Carolina- ESPN
Wednesday, December 2nd:
6:15pm Louisville at No. 19 Michigan State- ESPN
6:15pm No. 24 Wisconsin at Syracuse- ESPN2
6:15pm Penn State at Boston College- ESPNU
8:15pm No. 14 Indiana at No. 6 Duke- ESPN
8:15pm No. 16 Notre Dame at Illinois- ESPN2
8:15pm Florida State at Iowa- ESPNU
ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU will televise the 14 games of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge; including all 14 Big Ten schools from Monday, November 30th through Wednesday, December 2nd.
