“Live from the River City, it’s America’s longest running holiday parade returns to the area on Thanksgiving Weekend!”

Just sending the family out a reminder on the 128th Annual Santa Claus Parade will be taking place on Friday, November 27th (Thanksgiving Friday) beginning at 10:15am in Peoria, IL.

Join in on this great Peoria tradition as the parade takes a magical journey through the downtown streets of Peoria.

The 88 units of costumed characters, novelty walking units, horse units and decorated floats will surely get you in the holiday spirit and certainly delight the children along the route.

Best Commercial Float 1st Place: South Side Bank

Best Commercial Float 2nd Place: Peoria District Dental Society

Best Non Profit Float 1st Place: YMCA

Best Non Profit Float 2nd Place: Crime Stoppers

Best Novelty Entry Elf Award: Illinois Valley Wheelmen

Best New Entry: YMCA
