Taco Bell Throws It’s Sombrero In The Breakfast Arena

“Will you be craving Taco Bell– for breakfast?”

With Subway, Sonic Drive-In, and Chick-Fil-A already serving breakfast for the morning crowd, Taco Bell throws it’s sombrero into the breakfast arena. The late-night Mexican style fast food restaurant  introduced a breakfast menu on Thursday at nearly 800 restaurants in 14 states.

Taco Bell has not only made you run for the border, but their giving you another alternative on  why you should thinking outside the bun.

Taco Bell, The Mexican-style restaurant chain, introduced a breakfast menu on Thursday.

The rollout states who participated for Taco Bell breakfast were Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado; with a limited number of participating stores in Texas, Ohio and Oklahoma.

The chain’s breakfast staples include burritos stuffed with eggs and either sausage, bacon or steak, sausage and egg wraps, hash browns, hot or iced coffee, and orange juice. Taco Bell is teaming with such recognizable food brands such as Johnsonville, Cinnabon, Tropicana, and Seattle’s Best. Menu items range from 99 cents to $2.79.

If the launch goes as expected, Taco Bell hopes its breakfast burritos and hash browns along with its regular line of tacos, chalupas, and gorditas at all of it 5,600+ locations nationwide by the start of 2014.

The rollout adds to the scramble among fast-food heavyweights competing for the morning allegiance of on-the-go consumers.
